At Moorefield Park Childcare Centre, we are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children, Children with Disabilities and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Regardless of family background, ethnicity, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or ability, we are committed to creating an environment that is safe & supportive for every child within our centre. An environment where all children are valued, respected and protected from harm.

Moorefield Park Childcare Centre has zero tolerance for any form of child abuse and are committed to ensuring all employees understand that child safety and wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility. All employees and volunteers are made aware of the conduct expected within the organisation, through our policies and procedures and are aware of the requirement to report concerns for the safety and wellbeing of children to the appropriate authorities.

We, at Moorefield Park Childcare Centre, recognise the deep history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We respect and value their cultural rights and encourage the children and their families to express and enjoy their culture within our centre.
